I hold a first class MMath degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford. I have graduated in June 2020 and moved on to work full time in research of AI for drug discovery. In my BA level exams , I placed the first in my year at Oxford, earning the 2019 Department of Statistics Prize for Best Performance in Exams. Before Oxford, I obtained full score of 45 points on the IB Dimploma Programme, putting me among the top 0.2% candidates worldwide. My academical focus was Mathematics, Economics and Czech literature on higher level and Physics, German and English Literature on Standard Level.
Experience
I worked as a tutor during high school, where the student ages ranged between 6 and 18 years old. I typically taught my students individually and with a specific goal, such as passing a language certificate exam or improving school results. It was veey rewarding seeing the students develop their understanding, increase in confidence and succeed; after a more hectic period I feel ready to return to this activity to help others achieve their potential and ambitions or overcome short-term difficulties. In the past, I mostly focused on teaching English as a second language and Mathematics. Now I feel confident to expand beyond this to more complex Maths and other areas where my knowledge may be useful.
